MEET THE CHEF

My name is Anna Sorge and I am the owner and chef of Housewife Cafe & Bistro.

I am a wife and mother to 4 and have always dreamed of having my own brick and mortar store. I am passionate about people and food and love to curate experiences for others.

I have worn many hats over the years. I spent 10 years at Dean and Deluca, worked as a a Makeup Artist, General Manager of a boutique, Solar Sales Consultant, Trader Joe’s Manager, Events Manager, Catering Manager, Cafe Manager, and lastly General Manager of a fine dining restaurant and cafe.

I wanted to create the place I wanted to go to. A cafe and bistro that had the best coffee, the most amazing, scratch made food, and a unique environment that was chic and effortlessly cool and casual.

It is my dream that you walk in to Housewife and feel “at home”. My family wants to host you and serve you the best KC has to offer. Thank you for sharing in my dream and supporting Housewife. It means the world!
